Retiring abroad

The Art of Active Retirement.

Retiring abroad can be a daunting task, will we make friends, will integrate into the local community…

With over 1 Million British citizens retired abroad these questions have been overcome by many, and many more are hoping to follow in their footsteps.
The careful choice of a home is one of the biggest decisions to make and ultimately will be one of the main contributions to the enjoyment you derive from your new lifestyle, careful thought must be given to the type of property with an eye on the future. France is a very popular destination and it also boasts one of the most exclusive types of development aimed at those over 50, Les Senioriales.

Les Senioriales have been planned to help you experience a new way of living that is adapted to you. The Villas are all freehold within a private gated residence, access is via footpaths with a central parking area. At the heart of the residence is the Club-House, with its Gym, function room, Spa rooms, and outside you can relax in the Swimming-pool or in the Hot-Tub. For those wishing to indulge in one of France's favourite games (Boules) there is the "Terrain de Pétanque"!

The whole residence is built at ground level and all the homes are built as bungalows, there are no stairs at all. You can stroll around effortlessly and in complete comfort and security. The residences are a real melting-pot, ideal for anyone wanting to improve their French, you won't have any trouble in returning the favour as many of the French residents are keen to improve their English.

Les Senioriales is a gated residence, the automatic gate is also fitted with a CCTV camera above it, and you can view the main entrance via the camera from the comfort of your home thanks to your television at any time. All our developments have there own live-in Caretaker, who is there to make sure that the residence is secure and well maintained. Each development also has its own representative who will endeavour to answer any questions or problems you may have, whether it is difficulty with French bureaucracy, a recommendation for a good place to eat or where to get your car fixed...

Les Senioriales is not just a home it is a way of life and nothing defines that better than the Club House, where you can indulge yourself in many activities, meet new friends over a glass of wine or why not host your own party!!!

There is a variety of coastal and countryside locations right across France from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean with prices from £105,000 (€155000).
