Don't feel guilty about being kind to yourself - take a holiday. You need to give yourself time to relax, and to engage in activities that you find rewarding. It is sensible, not self indulgent to look after your self in this way. Doing things you have to do all the time has a negative effect on your emotional health. As well as the fact that a holiday or trip can renew the strength required to carry on in the face of difficult circumstances.

There is a vast choice of cheap holidays in 2007 on offer using the internet and there is something for everybody..Just click here to browse further

This month's funnies..

Planning for the future

A couple in their seventies were discussing their future plans. The husband asked, 'What will you do if i die before you?'

The wife thought for a moment before replying, 'I will probably look to share a house with three other single or widowed women, maybe people a little younger than me since i am still active for my age. What about you? What will you do if i die first?'

He answered, 'Probably the same.'

Reason to be cheerful

A group of pensioners were sitting around a nusing home comparing their respective ailments.

'My hands are so shaky i can hardly lift this cup,' said one.

'My cataracts are so bad i can't see to pour the coffee,' another said.

'I can't turn my head because of the arthritus in my neck,' said the third.

'My blood pressure pills make me dizzy,' complained the fourth.

'I guess that's the price we pay for getting old,' remarked the fifth.

'Yes, but it's not all bad,'said the sixth comfortingly. 'We should be thankful that we can still drive.'

A Grave Request

Consider what happened when a governor's most trusted assistant died in his sleep one night. The fellow had been the governor's closest friend, and the governor had depended on him for advice on every subject, from pending bills to wardrobe decisions.

Almost immediately, ambitious office seekers begin besieging the governor with requests to fill the assistant's post.

"They don't even have the decency to wait until the man is buried," the governor complains.

Even at the funeral, one eager beaver makes his way to the governor's side. "Governor," the man says, "is there a chance that I could take Joe's place?"

"Certainly," says the governor. "But you'd better hurry. I think the undertaker is almost finished."

Zip trouble

An elderly man went to see his doctor and said: 'Doctor, i think i'm getting senile. Several times lately, i have forgotten to zip up.'

'That's not senility,' replied the doctor. 'senility is when you forget to zip down.'
