Leafy veg 'cuts risk of diabetes'

Consuming one-and-a-half portions of leafy green vegetables every day could reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by 14%, research shows.

People who ate more than one daily serving of cabbage, spinach, sprouts, broccoli or kale were found to have reduced risk of diabetes compared with those who ate very little of the veg, the University of Leicester study showed. more
