This site is really good for elderly travel insurance. Click on this link... MRL INSURANCE.
It covers very well and cheaply upto the age of 89. Also does single trip and annual cover for senior citizens.

I've used these sites in the past -
1. 24DRTravel. They claim to offer cover up to age 90! http://www.24drtravel.com/eshop/ea/index.asp
2. Also try - http://www.worldwideinsure.com/eu-trave ... tnerID=128 - travel insurance for over 65s
3. And also World Nomads - http://www.worldnomads.com/index.aspx?g ... QwodCnvNAQ
Good luck!

I spent some time shopping around for travel insurance last year before visiting my daughter in Canada for a one month holiday I'm not yet 75 but I am over 60 and I found that over 60s travel insurance for a extended period could be very expensive. I was surprised to find that there are quite a few Insurance providers that offer special travel insurance for the over 60s not just the obvious ones like saga. I found this site to be very helpful: http://www.over60stravelinsurance.co.uk/ it provides a useful comparison for most of the big travel insurance providers who cater for senior travel insurance. Many of the providers listed on this site offer travel insurance for the over 75s, even annual travel insurance cover, which can be harder to obtain at a reasonable price. I do think it’s worth shopping around as prices seemed to vary greatly. In the end we went with IFA it was a little more expensive than some but they provided the cover that we were looking for.

Travel insurance prices can vary considerably. My main recommendation is don't buy your travel insurance through a high street travel agent or airline. I have found the following page useful for travel insurance and other insurance policies for people over 50 - Over 50 Insurance.

Good cover upto age 89

Senior citizen travel insurance policies provide single trip and long stay policies for mature and retired people aged 65 to 89 years and annual multi-trip policies for people up to the age of 79. MORE
